Canmore Public Library: Meet the Author
Join author Jane Marshall at the Canmore Library on Thursday, October 5th at 7:00pm for a Meet the Author event!
Marshall will be discussing her book "Searching For Happy Valley – A Modern Journey for Shangri-la."
At this conversational style gathering, Jane will do some readings from Searching For Happy Valley and answer your questions about the book, writing, and publishing in general.
Admission is free, with donations graciously accepted. This event will take place in the Friends Program Room.
Travel writer, Jane Marshall presents her global quest to understand the meaning of “Happy Valley” in three diverse geographic mountain environments including Canada, Morocco and Nepal.
She immerses herself in the land and forms deep connections with its people so she can learn the sustainable ways of living their Indigenous populations have honed over millennia.
